Maya is a curious little bee. She wakes up from a dream and is ready to explore the world. The only problem is that she's awake before any of the other baby bees. As a matter of fact, she's not even Maya ﾠyet, she's known simply as 396. As determined as the other bees are for her to return to her pod, she's just as determined to explore the world. She quickly learns that every bee has a place, after learning this, she's a bit confused because she doesn't know where she belongs. Her journey to find where she belongs will take her on an adventure filled with new experiences, new friends and many chances to find her place in this world. These adventures will engage her in some situations where her decisions could affect not just her hive but the entire meadow. This baby bee adventure is a refreshing kids movie with a twist. At first, Maya comes across as an obnoxious baby bee that doesn't listen to anyone, that could be misleading to some. The story finds its footing and carries forward towards a truly heartwarming ending. I'd advise watching this with your children, simply to explain some of those scenarios. Whether you're a fan of Maya before this or not, you'll find yourself smiling at the end...
