Tom is a self-destructive big shot in Hollywood but he has some issues. As if the self-destructive part of the first sentence didn’t give it away that is. To cope he does some reckless things, one of which is to the need to go out into the desert for some stimulation, just him and the elements and nature. A traveler happens upon his camp one evening and thus the start of our conversation/confrontation of sorts starts to develop. Very wary of this traveler Tom ends up knocking him out and takes off into the desert. This is the cat and mouse part of the game. Thinking he’s about to be attacked by his follower he hears a noise, shoots, and much to his surprise, it’s not his pursuer he shot. Skipping ahead, now home, Tom now finds himself in the crosshairs of this mysterious traveler who has promised his end. Will the traveler be successful in hunting Tom down? Will Tom get the best of his pursuer/stalker again? It’s a crime drama with a western'ish type feel to it in a way. There’s a lot of conversation/dialogue that happens between the two throughout the movie so if you want more action, this isn’t it. The payoff however was actually good, it just takes a bit to get there. For those who don’t mind the cliché type of drama, dialogue, and mystery, this will be something you may enjoy. Is this you?
