Imagine if you will, a sophisticated art dealer with an Austin Powers flair and just a touch of the Mad Hatter. His infatuation of art and beautiful women had got him where he is. When a renowned restorer is murdered, Charlie is the only one who picks up on the reason. He then becomes the only person who can solve the case. Working with and against the authorities, his adventure will put the art as well as certain parts of himself in great danger. When it is finally located, the proximity of it is a great surprise. To celebrate its debut, the holder of it holds an elaborate gala. Unfortunately before the reveal, the party suffers a grave misfortune. This misfortune is very fortunate for our debonair art aficionado. As he and his love seek to pull off the ultimate deception there are a few obstacles to overcome. They and their lifestyle is at risk in this endeavor. Will they succeed or will they face the consequences. This humorous tale has its ups and downs. There are definitely areas that are refreshing and bright but have just as many that are dull and flat. The double entendre jokes as well as the obvious ones will keep you entertained. This was an almost awkward role for Depp but he succeeded even through it all. It may not be memorable but it's at least remarkable with original dialogue and melancholy humor.
