Comedy, something that is supposed to make us laugh, make us cry and sometimes even make us feel. What we have here is none of the above unless that feeling is disgust. Don't worry, I'm not getting political, I am not even focusing solely on the subject matter of the movie... What I'm talking about is low brau humor (if you can call it that) that would be offensive to almost anyone who watches it. One fortunate thing, this wanna be comic is nothing more than a regular at a free speakeasy. Here's a woman in her late 20's, facing a bleak future as everything is crumbling around her. She uses improv as a way to relate with others, some may see it as incredibly honest and real but if you have to be that "real" to relate, you're the fake one. After one night of impulsivity, she finds herself in a predicament. It's more than that though, it's more than a simple decision on this one matter. She tries to relate her entire life to this and it's like taking pieces from multiple puzzles and trying to make them work together. Some attempting this may achieve a beautiful collage but her life is a collective mess. Truths will reveal themselves and so will friends, when she finds herself dealing with this. Her decision may offend some but the first fiveļ¾ minutes will offend far more than the story itself. If you can sit through the first five minutes, the story does slightly improve but the painful attempts at humor are just that, painful.
