First responders are too often overlooked when people think of superheroes. In the age of Marvel, DC, etc... it's easy to forget that there are heroes all around us. This is the story of a group of heroes that put themselves on the front line to protect others. The Granite Mountain Hotshots struggled to get to their certification as HotShots, after a grueling battle that was years in the making. They pushed on to become the first municipal fire crew to earn the HotShot status. Unlike typical firefighters, HotShots don't fight the fire with water or foam. Instead, they use shovels, chainsaws, fire, and determination. It was this determination that brought them together and made them much more than co-workers. This story showcases these men in their elements, raw and real. Their highs and their lows, all becoming part of the history that they made. Poignant and powerful, this delivers on every level. Though it may not be for all, there is much to appreciate. It is based on a true story and is a bit intense at times, but such a powerful delivery has not been done since American Sniper. Should you choose to experience this epic story, just come prepared, it's more than you could imagine.
