Losing everything you love does something to a man. He lost his love, put in prison, losing his dad while in prison, then his brother. Nobody is really helping him bring to justice those responsible for his brother. Some battles choose you. He will find those responsible. What will it cost? Does it matter when there’s nothing left to live for? How far would you be willing to go for answers, for justice? This unconventional drama is a very heavy movie and a slow burn which is perfect for this type of movie. The slow burn is inside of Russell and you can see it slowly build with everything that unfolds in the story. It’s not heavy on the dialogue but a picture or a look in a man’s eye is worth more than long proper sentences. It is a simple story but Incredible performances and it draws you in emotionally at the same time. You need patience with this due to its pace but those who have the patience and love the heaviness of a good powerful drama will see what I mean.
