The Review

A family finds a deal on their dream home, but when a deal seems too good to be true it probably is as this family is about to learn the hard way. Settling into their new home, they each have their interests. The dad an avid gamer is fascinated by anything electrical. The mom and daughter have interests that are a bit less exciting (or so they think). One day Laila (the daughter) meets and begins conversing with a new friend. Little do the parents know that the friend is more than a figment of her imagination. Upon examination of more things in their home, the dad comes across a box with an ancient (and huge) video camera that is unlike anything he's ever seen before. Along with it he finds numerous VHS tapes with information that ties directly to him and his family. As they begin to dig deeper, the story once again takes a dark turn. Leaving all of them wondering what will happen next. This seemingly final installment in this series is an unfortunate combination of the previous Paranormal Activity films with an inkling of Poltergeist added in. Try as they may it has been overdone beyond resurrection. Even if you're a fan, there are too many flaws to overlook. Try as it may... it just can't... Is that good or bad... You decide.
