Rampage is an iconic video game that captivated an entire generation. The gameplay was entertaining and addictive but what it never revealed was how the characters came to be. Here we see the process and the experimentation that led to the mutations. These innocent creatures went from everyday creatures to monstrous, raging machines of destruction. Some want to take this technology and build on it, creating more of the creatures and modifying the technology to create an unstoppable force. Others want to intervene and stop the creatures before it's too late (or is it already). One of them, in particular, has a personal relationship with one of the creatures. So his stake in the process is much more than those around him and he'll do anything to save his friend. Through this are some intense violence and a few gory scenes. Even with that though, there is a lot of hilarity throughout. The humor is definitely not for younger audiences, some of the situations and jokes are far more inappropriate than the video game ever was. That being said, there are those that will appreciate it for exactly what it is, but unless you come prepared... You may find yourself in an uncomfortable situation.
