An obscenely original mash-up of ideas that pushes the boundaries so far as to say: If you're not offended, you're not paying attention. We all know what we're thinking when we get hungry, but has anyone ever stopped to think... What does the food think? Well not until now... This is a half baked (at least the writers must have been) idea about the whole idea of groceries from the food's perspective. They dream of the "Great Beyond" and the Gods that take them to this eternal paradise. It's only when they begin to realize that the Great Beyond isn't all that they thought it was that their society begins to fall apart. A few of them will be ahead of the rest in being proactive to the threat instead of reactingﾠto it. The rest will fall into place as the story is told. That being said, the boundaries that this pushes (crosses) are too numerous to mention. There is a heavy handed sexual nuance to the entire thing, as well as vile and vulgar language throughout. You may see these as reasons not to see this, and for many that will be the case. This is not for younger viewers at all, or even most adults for that matter. Saying that though this definitely has an audience and the appeal of it to reach that demographic, definitely hits the bullseye.
