The seventh son of the seventh son is the heart of an ancient order. The one that is born in this placement is bestowed with special abilities. Those abilities aren't realized until the opportunity arises. This once proud order was made up of thousands of warriors. This once great and powerful group is now reduced to a select few. These few must stare into the abyss of hell and save all of humanity from the dark forces. As the master trains the apprentice, he soon learns that the apprentice may be the teacher as well as the student. Their enemy turns out to be closer to home than they realized. As they do what is necessary, decisions must be made that upset the order of the order. They'll soon come to realize that good and bad aren't so easily defined. This tale delves into light and dark magic. How those that hold the powers can use them to impact everything around them. It could have been much more than it was. The story wasn't as developed as it could have been and though the ending hints about a sequel... I'm not sure if it's worth it. The idea was incredible, the execution was lacking.
