The nightmare continues... Oswalt was on the verge of uncovering something, something incredible; incredibly awful that is. The legend of buguul is much more than a legend. He's much more. One person is determined to keep the fight alive, deputy so-and-so. Only now we know his name, as he continues the pursuit, he's finding new ways to end the trail of breadcrumbs left behind. Only the next target is much more complicated than he could have anticipated. All of his research has shown him one thing only to come across something else entirely. Just when he runs out of answers, a phone call changes everything. This new development will not only change the connections but will change the entire story. What we still don't know is why... This sequel (as many do) fell far from the original. The lead character (the only connection to the first movie) is a lesser character from the first movie. The performance is weak and doesn't add much to it. The boys are the only refreshing part of the film, there is a heavy inset of sibling rivalry that is carried a bit too far. Then there is the bleak attempt atᅠromance mixed into this horror flick. The phone call that the deputy receives brings in something that leads into a third installment. They've hit rock bottom with this since there's only one way to go, we can all hope the next one will be worth watching.
