Relationships are difficult, why... well there are too many reasons to mention but I can say that this story fills in a lot of those gaps. It all begins at Columbia University, a young woman infatuated with her tutor and a young man that lives down the hall. So is this a love triangle? Yes and no... We get to see them share something with one another that will stay with them. Now jump forward in time (about twelve years) and we see them again in different scenarios in life but still, something is the same, something just hasn't changed... but what is it? They end up reconnecting in an unlikely place and decide to just be friends (even coming up with a safe word/phrase). As time continues, their love lives continue to be a mess and the only time they seem to have their lives together is when they're together. The only thing is together doesn't seem to work for these two. So just when you think this is predictable, it surprises you with a mild twist that isn't quite so easy to figure out. The twist brings both of them to a different place in life, but is there more to the story? Watching this will answer all of your questions. The subject matter is highly inappropriate for younger audiences (some adults too) as there is strong language and multiple highly sexual scenes. If you can get through that, this is definitely worth the watch. There are many humorous moments and one liners that will get stuck in your head. If you're in the mood for an edgy comedy, this will hit the target, just be prepared for the highly suggestive content.
