The story of Snow White has been told and retold throughout the years. There is only one problem with that, we've only heard one version of the story over and over again, yet we all know there's more too it. This fills in a few of those gaps. How the evil witch came into her life, how the animosity began and more of the explanation of the adventure itself. Now that being said, it goes awry from the original in many ways. Purists to the origin story will surely find themselves at a loss, but if you can take a broader view and observe it from a different standpoint than you'll be able to appreciate what this story brings. The areas of this story that it fills in still leave gaps that leave you wondering the origin of the idea behind it. Though confusing at times, this delivers on many different levels. If only they'd kept the follow through to the story itself, the final product would have been much more cohesive. Should you take your chance on this? Only you can decide... If you're a fan of the traditional storybook ideas, there's definitely something to appreciate but if you're attached to the original story, you might be disappointed.
