Everyone is quarantined in their homes, or wherever their last location was when the pandemic hit. The only ones who can go out and about are the sanitation workers and the munies.
Lester's Gets is the new service to get what you need when you need it, the munies are the transporters and the goods are whatever you're willing to pay for.
Nico is one of Lester's munies, through one of his deliveries he met Sara. They would communicate and eventually fall in love without ever actually seeing one another somewhere besides a screen.
When Nico becomes aware of a high-value commodity, he is determined to do whatever it takes to get ahold of it so that he and Sara can escape. This is their story, the struggles, and the successes (as few as they may be). Together they want to be each others songbird only without the music...
It's a tired idea playing on a fear narrative to express itself in a way that is predictable from the get-go. Some will love it, some will find it mindless droll... How you will see it is entirely up to you.
