The crew of the starship Enterprise has journeyed millions of miles through the galaxies. Along the way, they have experienced many joys and hardships. The most recent hardship has taken an extensive toll on the entire crew. The loss of one of their own. Upon his burial, his burial pod ended up somewhere where life gets a second chance. Only it's never as simple as it sounds. The Genesis project had been released onto a lifeless planet, causing life to sprout out of nothingness. Because of this development, the lifeless form of one of their own will once again find life in an unconventional way. There is an effect that is caused by Genesis that no one could have anticipated and it will further complicate a complicated situation. The remaining crew of the Enterprise will encounter an unexpected threat off the planet as well. Through all the struggles that they faced on and off the planet, the crew found solace in what brought them together in the first place. One of them would face further difficulties though as there is more to him than what can be visibly seen. What this is will be more of a necessity than any of them realize to put the missing pieces back together. Though this is the third (3rd) installment in the Star Trek movies, it seems to be losing traction. The ending of the last movie changed the story entirely and this entire story feels like they were correcting a mistake more than an original story by itself. It's done well but could have been avoided in the first place. Where would this have gone? We'll never know... Will it go further? No one knows for sure but we'll just have to wait and see.
