This will be a battle unlike that which has been seen before. The Enterprise and her crew are about to return to earth after an act of terrorism shakes Starfleet to its core. There was a purpose to this plot, but was the end worth the means... That is something that will be debated long after this story is over. As the pieces begin to unfold, the one responsible is a name that might seem familiar... Just as things are beginning to have some semblance of order again, there will be another event that will need Starfleet's attention. There is only one crew, that of the Enterprise that is ready, willing and able to take on this task. As the battle begins, they will soon realize that the foe that they face will include one of their own. How best to handle a situation when those that you fight are at home and away will be revealed. This story, though inclusive of the ideas that have been brought forth to date, is much more of a compilation of cliff note versions of some of the older movies mixed with the newness that Trekkies are still becoming accustomed too. For those who haven't experienced all of the eleven movies prior, this will definitely fill in some gaps to the story. Purists, however, will find themselves almost confused as to the nature of the plot. A story that is multiple stories wrapped up in one would have been better suited to the TV series and less of the big screen.
The captains oath:
Space the final frontier,
These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise,
Her five year mission,
To explore strange new worlds,
To seek out new life and new civilizations,
To boldly go where no one has gone before
