A time has finally come where peace is a possibility. Before it even has a chance to begin, a catastrophic disaster puts an entire species at risk. When a starship in the area responds in an attempt to help, they are met with resistance. An agreement is reached to prevent further conflict. This agreement will bring about another situation that could jeopardize the peace talks in their entirety. The only hope now is to find the answers as to the who and why. As the search continues, the ones affected are demanding justice. This justice will be far from blind or fair, as it will be decided on rage.... not facts. When the truth begins to reveal itself, those who are responsible will be the ones that you would least suspect. Just when it seems like the story has gotten back on track, this happens again. The series of movies have been alternating hits and misses. This story is plagued with heavy-handed political innuendo's mixed in with a crime drama. Now how does that fit in a sci-fi story, they manage to make it work but it just feels like it's missing something. Although it brings in some characters (possibly towards the next one in the series), it just doesn't connect the dots... leaving us with an incomplete image of what they were trying to accomplish.
