Fear, a primal emotion that we all possess is exploited like never before in this new take on horror. Pennywise is a clown, but unlike any other one, you've ever seen before. He appears to little children, only not to delight and amaze, but to frighten and terrorize. When he picks one certain young boy, it just might be the beginning of the end (or is it just the end of the beginning). The young boy that disappears has an older brother. Traumatized by the loss, he turns to his friends at his time of need. This particular group of friends calls themselves the losers club. Each of them are misfits in their own rights, yet together there is something special about them. They stay connected through school, but like many friendships... the years begin to take their toll. Years later, something happens back home and this single event will draw them all back to where they began. Could they be enough to set things right? Or is this something that will haunt them for all time? After watching this, many will never look at clowns the same way again. One of King's darkest tales to date is reminiscent of some of his previous stories with a twist. Prepare yourself before you embark on this adventure. It just might be more than you expect.
