Running away from your problems never solves anything. One family is about to learn that the hard way. After their daughter made some questionable decisions, they had to uproot their lives for a fresh start. Having a fresh start may change the place you are but it doesn't change you. Her parents expected things to change by enforcing stricter rules and changing her environment. It's never that simple. Where did she get it from though? That answer will come out as the story is told. This is a brilliant tale told from each of their perspectives. We experience the pain and anguish they all go through as they have to lose themselves to find their way. This is a powerful story, with very adult subject matter. Strong language and adult situations (including sexual scenes), add to it in a surprising way. Many movies stray away from their main idea with foul language and adult situations, mostly for comedy. This doesn't though, the adult scenes fit into the story. The haunting brilliance is memorable. This is one you might not expect much of at first glance, but it's worth the watch.
