Judgement day has happened. Millions are dead, but hope remains. Through the resistance... The resistance may not be large, but that doesn't stop their determination. Pockets of people that struggle for life itself; listen for messages of hope on the radio. These messages ensure that humanity still has a chance. Skynet now has control over land, sea, and air with the advancements in technology. The newest development could possibly be the most dangerous of them all. This new model, the T-800 will be the deciding factor in this battle. Kind of ironic, a machine helped to create the resistance (by helping John Connor) and a machine has the capability to do the unthinkable. It ends up right in front of the resistance, friend or foe, the battle is completely changed. This fourth installment comes as a bit of a surprise, they could have left the story with the last one but this one takes us to the year 2018 and we see a world completely devoid of recognition. The after effect of the global disaster that Skynet initiated. The world will never be the same and neither will the people. Memories and hope are all that remain. This feels a bit disjointed from the other three movies, it is almost Terminator meets Mad Max with a bit of Transformers. They've strayed from the original idea, but it still seems to work (though not very well). If you're a Terminator fanatic, this is one you'll love or hate. Should you decide to see this, be prepared... It's not what you'll expect.
