Nikola Tesla was a simple man that lived anything but a simple life. When you think of electricity and innovation, he may not be the first name that comes to mind but his ideas were crucial in the innovations that have changed the world. This is his story. From his humble beginnings forward, his life was one of exception.
We experience Tesla's life hand through the celebrations and crushing blows that he experienced. How certain decisions that he made changed the industry above and beyond his ideas. Throughout the story, there is a narration that helps to guide the viewer through. There are numerous timeline errors that distract from the story that is told and other side stories of things that didn't actually happen (just exaggerations of ideas).
This could have been something special, in a telling of Tesla's tale, but it got caught up in itself and distracted from itself.
There are historians that will find themselves reeling at this presentation, there will also be audiences that will see beyond the errors and additions to enjoy the story that's told. Wherever you fall in that, it's entertaining, but only to a point.
