Red saved the day last time we saw the angry birds in action. He went from a lonely loser to the island hero. That wasn't the end of the struggle though. The war between the birds and the pigs is ongoing. That is until they realize they have a new adversary. A temporary truce is established so that they can do what needs to be done. There's one other party that is essential to this plan, the only problem is that as essential as he is... He is part of the problem as well. Once they arrive at the third island to face this adversary head-on, they come to realize the extent of the situation. It will take much more than what they have planned in order to save their homes. Each of them will bring their individual strengths to this fight. It won't do any good though if they aren't allowed to show what they are. What will happen? Will they work be able to work together to accomplish their goal or will their egos get in the way? So much to be seen, so much to learn, so much that can go wrong. It's a bit unexpected but it's still just as goofy as you'd imagine. Some of the comedy is for the older audiences but it's definitely safe for kids. A side story that is mixed in has to do with some of the hatchlings that are on their own adventure. A cute addition that is entertaining but could have been more impactful as a separate short.
Make sure to get there early as there is a short film before Angry Birds 2 called Hair Love
