The Review

Wanting to be needed and being needing to be wanted are two different things. Claire is separated from her husband due to his indiscretions. Desperate for attention she casually flirts with forbidden fruit. The fruit being the relative of her neighbor who is soon to be a bigger part of her life than she could have imagined. His infatuation with her becomes an obsession... A dangerous one. There's more to him then meets the eye and the more truths reveal themselves the more dangerous he becomes. Now it's not just Claire that's in jeopardy... His obsession already has a high cost, how much higher will he take it. This is an edge of your seat suspenseful film that glorifies inappropriate relationships. The forbidden becomes that which is focused upon. Mind games and manipulation play a key role in this game without any winners. The ending is pretty predictable from about mid point on. The action and surprises keep it fresh but it's not without flaws. Lopez is radiant in this role but I'm not sure if that's a compliment considering the moral position of her character is questionable. Not for the faint of heart but... If you want a suspenseful thriller with lots of sex... This might be for you.
