Meet Matthew Buckley, only one of the seven Buckley brothers. I know what you’re thinking… that’s a lot of boys, their mother thinks so too. Now, most people think seven kids are enough but Mrs. Buckley really wants a girl so baby number eight is on its way. Matthew loves his brothers but it always seems to be an ongoing war between them especially with the oldest, Simon. However, when Matthew’s brothers start getting picked on by Finn Hagbart, sibling rivalries are set aside and Matthew sets out to protect his family. Just when they think it couldn’t get worse their mom decides that the Hagbart’s are going to be their ‘elving’ project. ‘Elving’ is when the Buckley’s choose a family to spoil and give out goodies in secret. Will Matthew and his brothers show kindness to their enemies even when they won’t ceasefire? This movie is a little corny but fun for the whole family with concepts the kids can easily grasp. In the end, it will make you thankful for what you have and show you what’s really important.
