In high school we all have that one person that we want to be like... Even if you are that person, I'm sure there's something that you see in someone else that you admire. Daniel has looked up to one person since HS. He's now the chairperson of the High School Reunion committee and he's determined to bring that one person... When he makes plans to travel to New York to get him, he has to create a lie. When he arrives, the person he envisioned is everything he wanted and more... Or so he thought. Things quickly escalate and the original plan is in jeopardy. Upon returning home, his lie is snowballing out of control. The person he went to get, shows up in time for the reunion but prior to the big day... Creates a ton of confusion... Finally the reunion is here, only things don't go as planned and what happened in New York is coming back to haunt him... This movie is about hero complexes. What they do to us and those we put up on pedestals. There is a much deeper message hidden amongst the comedic gestures throughout. If you pay attention to the details you'll see something beyond the comedy. A truly funny movie with a deeper meaning that is not for a younger audience but will leave you with something you weren't expecting.
