The Review

The bond between twins is a bond unlike any other. When something happens to one then the other one can sense it. As unusual as it seems it's something proven time and time again. That's what we see here, twins whose lives have gone in different directions. When one of them goes missing, the other is determined to find her. The unusual part is where she has gone missing... The Aokigahara forest (also known as the suicide forest). A place where people go to die (whether they intend to or not). This forest is known for its fabled history as well as its supernatural forces. These forces take any negative feelings that you have and amplify them. The question becomes... Does the forest really do it or do we let our own fears overtake us? These questions and many more will be asked in this story. As the story reveals itself, it all goes back to a date that changed the girl's life forever. Even after realizing that, there's much more to be discovered. This seemingly haunting tale seems to be more than it is. It tries to come across as scary and mysterious but it does nothing more than play on your fears by the element of surprise. That being said the ending is predictable if you're able to pay attention that is. Parts of the tale make it difficult to follow. If you're looking for a fright, this probably isn't what you're looking for. Though if you follow the stories of the Aokigahara forest, you might be intrigued enough to watch.
