A celebration of humanity, not an original quote of mine but a simple quote from the movie that embodies the entire idea that is presented here. Phineas Taylor Barnum was born the son of a tailor, even from a young age he dreamt of bigger and better things. Along the way, he would meet someone who would fill one part of his life. As time went on, a huge part of his life was still empty. When he felt that he was at the end of the rope due to circumstances beyond his control, he decided that he needed to take matters into his own hands. That's when he had a unique opportunity to do something that had never been done before. Originally his idea involved the dark and macabre, from there it evolved into the curiosities and oddities. Over time it would evolve even further into something magical. This is that story, the story of a man, the story of a dream, the story of humanity. Presented in such a way that it doesn't focus on what we see, but more on what we feel. What makes us who we are? What determines success? A simple idea, a simple man, and a legacy that would change the world.
