Minnie's haberdashery, the name itself will leave you wondering what or why? It will become the refuge for many during a Wyoming blizzard. As a stagecoach approaches, full of passengers, there are already people there waiting for them. After all, Minnie's is a popular stop in a desolate land. As this stagecoach approaches, there is a bounty hunter, his bounty, a war hero, and a sheriff. That's only if you believe what they each have to say that is. Each of them has their own agenda in this mess, the four (4) already there and the four (4) just arriving. What are their agendas? That will be revealed as the story is told. In typical Quentin Tarantino fashion, you can imagine the direction the story goes. Tarantino has adapted some classic movie ideas into his own... leaving little to no resemblance of the movies he used for inspiration. There are funny moments in this menagerie of ideas and overly gratuitous violence that is even heavy handed for Tarantino. As the story reveals itself, you'll quickly find yourself full of more questions than answers. Even once the answers reveal themselves, you might find yourself a bit confused. Don't despair though, there is more to this than it initially seems. If you're a fan of Tarantino, this will fit right into the groove, if you're not, you might get a bit lost. The level of gore is a little much even for him but it adds to the story in a way that only he could do. Not his best, but not his worst. This is definitely worth watching but unfortunately not very memorable. Take a chance and bet on this... you just might win.
