A revolution becomes a war in this intense view into the life of the Mockingjay. It is easy to forget who the enemy is and what you're fighting for when you are the center of it all. The question becomes how can you be a voice for everyone else when you can't find your own. Katniss has to deal with all of these questions and more. She was promised one thing and was given something else. She can't see the bigger picture yet. At least she has some of the ones closest to her even if she doesn't have the rest. Giving up is not an option. As her face becomes the face of this fight, they want her to read lines and act... That's something that does not connect with anyone. It's not until she is dropped into the reality of it all that we see the fire inside the "girl on fire". The further that they are all pushed, the harder they fight. Before all hell breaks loose, a rescue is underway. It seems to simple, almost as if it was the plan all along by the capitol. Freedom comes at a price... How much is to much to pay? When do you know? Just as this starts to answer that, part 1 ends. It leaves an open door into part 2. We can anticipate some of it but there are pieces that will leave us on the edge of our seats as we highly anticipate the final piece. Make sure and sit through all the credits for a spectacular transformation.
