A controlling relationship becomes something much darker. She has already realized how dangerous this man that she thought was her future has become. Only escaping this personal prison isn't as simple as it seems. She develops an elaborate plan to gain her freedom and is immediately successful. Little does she know that he will never let her go. As she stays with a friend and tries to find a way to restart her life, things become even more complicated. Soon, the danger will not only be aimed at her but all of those around her. Only the danger isn't as obvious as it appears. The reality of what is happening causes those around her to question her sanity. The future appears to be in question as she figures out the only way to end this nightmare. Thankfully she's creative in her approach and though her future may not be what she had envisioned, she'll at least have one.
This unconventional retelling of the classic tale is inventive and intriguing. It will keep you guessing up until the very end and hints that there may be more to come.
