The Review

Life's there for the taking. That's the outlook the unscrupulous park squirrel Surly has adopted. After a hard year when it seems the parks food supply isn't going to last the winter, park leader Raccoon sends squirrels Andie and Grayson to get nuts from a nut cart only to find Surly and his rat friend Buddy have gotten there first. With the three at odds, the heist goes awry and Surly finds himself banished from the park. Lost in the city, Surly finds a nut shop and makes and Buddy scheme to get fat for the winter. When Andie leaves the park to search for food and runs into the nut shop Surly must change his plans.

This movie is a decent watch for kids and any who enjoy animated movies. Though not without plot holes and filled with cliches, the characters are well voiced and the animation is colorful. The story is consistently progressing which means you're not likely to get too bored with the story.
