Ivan is the star attraction at the Big Top Mall. He has drawn the crowds in for many years to be astounded at his pure prowess. As the years went by, the crowds that once filled the stands were dwindling more and more. The circus itself was in jeopardy. Mack would soon bring in a new attraction to draw the crowds in once again. When he did, Stella took the new exhibit under her wing (per se) and made Ivan make her a promise. With this promise and the love of a little girl, the future of the show seemed to be thriving but for how long would it last?

This story is based on a true story. Ivan was in fact a real gorilla and there's information below (that is listed in the credits). His story is one of both triumph and tragedy. This is that tale. Some audiences will appreciate the presentation, others will be outraged. There are portions of the movie that will certainly bring on strong emotions either way. It might not be what you expect, but that could be a good thing. That's up to you.
