The Review

Bringing the deal back into play was key for this third installment in the Transporter series. The whole story is wrapped around a single deal, a single chance that he has to prove himself. Making matters more difficult, the rules have changed. Only he isn't the one changing them. So dealing with different parameters, a different "package" and a make or break deal aside from his that could impact the world. Again going back to the James Bond type theme is I guess what this tries to do. Every action scene brings to mind the song "Kung Fu Fighting", not in a matter of disrespect but since there are portions of the fight scenes that are so fake they're laughable... It's hard to take it seriously. The story itself is improved from the other two, and there is a bit more carry over that finally seems to tie them together. Could this be the end of the Transporter? Who knows, it's difficult to imagine where they could go from here. There's not much for originality and it seems they've carried it as far as it can go... but it's Hollywood so ???
