There is something that is plaguing our men and women in uniform. It doesn't discriminate by gender, by race, by age, by service or by anything else. Far too often, there are those that refuse to see it, because of this the suicide rate of our veterans is at a staggeringly high number. It becomes even higher when you take into account the deaths by drug/alcohol addiction and death by cop. What is this that I'm talking about... PTSD (or PTS) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which can also be accompanied by a TBI Traumatic Brain Injury, Depression and / or anxiety. All stemming from things that they experienced that were too difficult to process. In a sense, part of the brain shuts down while other parts go into overdrive making everyday things in life incredibly difficult for the ones suffering. The thing is many go unnoticed by society in general because it's easier to ignore it than face it. We as a society need to do better for these men and women who have given all they could to protect all it is that we have. This story delves into the story of two of these men, their stories, their families stories and one of the programs that's out there to help them. A deeply emotionally charged look into what happens that most of us never see. A true must see for anyone who has served, has had family or friends who've served, and even those that are considering serving. Now, this is not meant to deter anyone from serving our country, just the opposite. This provides you with information to help before it gets to this point. The intensity is difficult to watch at times but it's so worth it. Check it out today!
