George Takei is probably best known for his role as lieutenant Hikari Sulu on Star Trek. Takei had to put in a great deal of effort to build an acting career at a time when Asian Americans weren't commonly seen on tv. ﾠNot limiting himself to just acting, Takei has also been involved in politics and more heavily as an activist for equal rights.

This documentary was an interesting watch. George Takei is generally prettyﾠentertaining and fun to watch. ﾠThe documentary details the social and political causes the Takei has dedicated himself to. The topics covered are pretty varied, ranging from marriage equality to the internment of Japanese-Americans after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. There's also quite a bit of commentary from the people around Takei who he has worked with during his career. If you're a fan of his or you have any interest in activism, you'll probably enjoy this. If not, you should pass on it.
