The 20th-century space race changed everything. By reaching the moon, they had no idea the events they'd set in motion. It begins with the Alpha station (ISS), it would soon become a hub for not only the people from earth but something much more. As the Alpha trekked into the Magellan current, they soon found themselves amongst beings that they could never have expected. This is where we meet Valerian and Laureline. Their missions are assigned to them by those on Alpha. Though some of the missions seem mundane at best, they manage to add their own version of adventure into the mix. When Valerian finds himself the unintended recipient of something special, their priorities will begin to change. Their new mission will test them personally and professionally. They're about to experience things like never before and see things that they couldn't have imagined. What will happen to the new dynamic duo... I guess you'll have to experience it to see. This thrilling adaptation of the graphic novels of Valerian and Laureline pushes the boundaries of what you might expect. The final product is a bit of Avatar meets Star Trek. Visually stunning in its presentation, this is truly a story that will take your breath away. Towards the end, there are some heavy handed political points being made that will appeal to some and repel others. Though the graphics may seem appealing to all, some of the subject matter may not be suitable for younger audiences. Should you take a chance? Only if you're up for an adventure.
Unfortunately, there is no bonus scene in/after the credits (a huge opportunity that they missed out on)
