The most haunted mansion in America has haunted many for generations. How did it come to get that name though? Winchester, is pretty self-explanatory, as it was owned by the Winchester family (the same family that started the Winchester firearms company). As for the haunted house, it is widely believed by many to be haunted by the souls that lost their lives to Winchester firearms. Each of these souls demanded something from the lady of the home, Mrs. Winchester. What they demanded from her was something from each of their lives. In fulfilling the needs of these spirits, the house was continually changing, expanding to accommodate them. In an effort to remove Mrs. Winchester from the board of directors of the company because of her outlandish claims, the board of the company decides to send someone to evaluate her sanity. His arrival will be much more than he had bargained for, as the rules in the home are quite strict. With all of the personal demons of his own that he faces, this house will complicate his life as well. Strange events continue to the breaking point for all of the inhabitants of the home, including the guest. What will he determine the state of Mrs. Winchester to be? Is this all an elaborate psychosis or is there something much darker involved? Those questions and more will be explored in this elaborate piece. The Winchester house is a real place and this is based on real people, even with the Hollywood additions, the story is not for the faint of heart.
