Dysfunctional... A better word could not be found to describe the family involved here. Why is that? Well, take a recovering alcoholic, an actress wannabe, an arsonist and a gangster's wife, then combine them into the same family and what do you get... Absolute chaos. Each of them goes through the motions living their lives. When life doesn't live up to what they expect, they each take matters into their own hands to change their futures. Unfortunately, when doing so, they each successfully change their futures, but not in the ways that were intended. It's a complicated compilation of ideas that successfully tells a story but it is quickly lost as to which story it's telling. The pieces although connected by the family, seem to be a distraction from one another. When the story does reach the point where the pieces seem to fit together, it leaves you with more questions than answers. There will be those that are captivated by what is portrayed, but there will also be those that are left scratching their heads at the end. Should you take a chance on this? Only if you don't pay attention to the details.
