Moms can come in every shape and size. They differ greatly depending on their interests, their lifestyles, and their lives in general. Some choose to stay at home, others pursue their careers. There is no right or wrong when it comes to these choices but there are right and wrong choices that moms can make. Moms are not perfect. Now, this movie isn't just about moms, but it focuses on 2 of them. One is a mommy vlogger who does everything that she can to be the perfect mom, the other is a jet-setter career woman whose focus couldn't be further from her family. So what brings these 2 together? That is where it gets complicated. Their sons go to school together and because of their friendship, the moms begin to connect. Complete polar opposites of one another, they each intrigue the other. When one of them goes missing, the other steps up to fill in for the other. As the search continues, one will follow a seemingly invisible trail of breadcrumbs until something darker is uncovered. The truth will change the entire story for each of them. What begins as a mommy drama becomes something more complex and much darker than expected. A few twists and some unexpected surprises bring it to the edge of a "Gone Girl" type of story. The intensity and dialogue ensure that it's not for the everyday audience, but there is something to be appreciated in the complexity of the presentation.
