    The Review

Adolescence is a difficult period for everyone, hormones are changing, and we begin to feel the sense of attraction. That’s just it though, it’s an attraction. There are no rules as to how attraction should work. That’s what this young man is about to experience. He has grown up in a strict Christian household and is expected to follow the biblical standards for who he should or should not be attracted to. When he tries to be honest with his parents about who he is attracted to, they make the choice for him to send him off to conversion therapy. Try as he may, his interests never waivered. He followed the program, he followed the rules set forth, he truly attempted to convert. The therapy would reach a breaking point and he would make a choice that would cost him everything. The person he reaches out to is the only one he can count on. As the events come full circle, he once again finds himself facing the judgment of those he’s closest too. He has made his choice (was it a choice?) and others have made theirs. If you or someone you love is struggling, the message at the end of this true story could help. Some may say this is wrong, others will say that what happened to him is wrong. It addresses both sides in a respectful and beautiful manner. If you’ve ever wondered… Come, and expect to experience something like never before.
