The Review

What are dreams? Are they figments of our imagination, memories or something more? What if some of us has the ability to be in two places at once when we dream. Our physical body in one realm and our spiritual body in another. One family is about to find out. They just move into a new home and something doesn't feel quite right. When an accident happened and their son slips into a coma, they want answers. The problem... The doctors don't have the answers they need. When things go from one stage of creepy to downright bizarre they move, thinking it's the house causing the problems. Only the move doesn't solve it. They call in some unlikely help and the answer seems believable. It's only when they're ready to face the truth that they can save themselves. One of them will have to give his past to find their future. When he does he faces a new set of challenges and ultimately sometimes pays the ultimate sacrifice for his decision. Will their son ever wake up? Who will pay the price for the journey? Can they every escape? This movie has plenty of creepy undertones. Definitely not for the faint at heart. The acting by some of the cast could have just as well been phoned in as their characters were shallow at best. Though the plot had depth, there were gaps and inconsistencies. For a low budget thriller, it could have been worse but it left much to be desired.
