    The Review

Steve McQueen’s life is definitely a story worth knowing. He was the King of Cool. A man always searching. Raising yourself from a young age often has its downsides. Discipline issues and drugs hit the top of the list pretty early and after a short time in the military, he set off to become an actor in Hollywood. That discipline problem proved to be an issue when trying to make it as an actor. He soon learned that it’s not what you say on the page that makes you a great actor, it’s where you were in front of the camera that made the difference. He seemed to be a natural at that. With just a few key roles his rise to fame was assured. He was a natural. His rise to fame, his iconic roles in movies, was this it? Was this his legacy? That was actually just the beginning of his journey to fill the void left in him at such a young age. It was his relentless searching that led him to a few “chance” encounters with people that would eventually change his life forever. Their wisdom and their faith affected him in a way he could never have imagined. All of this lead to his eventual exit from Hollywood and to the peace he had searched for his whole life. So who is Steve McQueen? An Icon in front of the camera or the peaceful gentle soul not many people really knew? Learning about the real Steve McQueen is very intriguing to watch and fans of his and even those who never knew him might just enjoy knowing who he really was. His life touched so many but will his life change yours? Watch and learn and decide for yourself.
