Gru is finally settling down. His new life with Lucy and the girls is the furthest thing from what he had imagined, yet it's exactly what he never knew that he wanted. Just when he thinks he has things figured out, a mysterious stranger shows up to inform him about his long lost brother. To make matters even more difficult, it's his twin brother that he never knew about. The journey of meeting and getting to know Dru (his twin), will re-ignite a passion for villainy. So is Dru enough to cause Gru to relapse into his old ways? Or, will Gru's new life keep him on track? This is a bit unconventional in its presentation but there are references/easter eggs that pay homage to other family reunion type of films. A heartwarming adventure that is safe for all ages, it's specifically aimed at a younger audience but fans of the other Despicable movies will find that there is more to enjoy. Unlike the others, each of the characters has a few of their own stories along the way, some are cute, some are corny but they're all fun. Is it enough? Only you can decide.
