We are familiar with the superheroes of yesteryear as well as those of today. We know most ofﾠtheir backstories butﾠsome we don't... yet. This is the story of the Fantastic 4. It all started with a boy and a limitless imagination, Reed was determined to dream and do bigger than anyone thought was possible. He began inventing in his garage, with the help of a friend, he finally saw one of his inventions do what it was designed to. When those around him still refused to take him seriously, it didn't stop him, it only fueled him to do more. During a science fair, one of his inventions got the attention of someone with the ability to make it into something much more. With this help, he would achieve the impossible. What no one could foresee was the implications of such a device, how it would impact our world and the people in it. When control seems to be lost, four of the key people in the invention's success are determined to make their mark. They step into the machine and their lives are changed forever. The how and why remain to be seen (I never give spoilers) but this is the most anti-climactic Marvel film to date. It explains the how and why but it's nothing more than an explanation with amazing graphics. This is a slow story with no real action, and to top it off... this is the first Marvel movie in ages without anything special at the end. Don't bother to stay through the credits or you'll find yourself disappointed. Does it tell a story? Yes, but that's all it does.
