By the time we hit the big 3-0, most have an idea what they want to do with their lives. Then there are those that don't have a clue, they do what feels good and just try and make it work. Guess which category, this movie is about. The base story is about two friends who are desperately trying to make themselves known. Their unusual ways that they approach this idea are hair-brained at best. The way it all comes together is definitely targeted at the "adult swim" type of crowd. If you have to ask what that is, then there's a good chance that this isn't for you. The who and how of this came together because of some unusual happenings, there was a brief Q/A before the show that gave some insight into it. To say that it is unusual is almost a compliment in an unusual way. It's not for all but it will certainly become a cult classic within the audience that it's aimed at. All of this being said, it displays a unique type of comedy that must be appreciated for what it is. The animation is crude but intentional, but even with all of that, the point is definitely made... Whether or not it hit the target is for you to decide.
