Have you ever wondered what your pets do when you're away? Well you don't have to wonder anymore. This story invites us into the homes of a variety of pets. Everything from cats and dogs to parakeets and more. How they interact with one another and how they interact with us has intrigued us for as long as we've had domesticated animals. This particular story is centered around Max and his human Katie. All is well, that is until Katie brings home a brother for Max. That's when the chaos begins. All of Max's friends begin the frantic search to bring him home again. Only the search won't be as easy as they had hoped. They'll find themselves working together with some unexpected help from down below to overcome some incredible obstacles. Ultimately, they'll all come to realize that going home is never as simple as it sounds. This story is definitely aimed at a younger generation. The story is simple (maybe a bit too much so), the delivery is somewhat cluttered and unfortunately... most of the best parts are revealed in the trailer. It entices us with the love that we have for our furry (and feathered) friends and delivers a cutesy story that showcases the uniqueness of each and every one of them. Will this be a classic... Probably not, but at least it's fun to watch.

So what do your pets do all day when you're at work? Welcome into the lives of the pets. The story of Max and his owner Katie, who one day comes home but with a new addition to the family. A big brown threat named Duke. They manage to separate themselves from home and now it's a journey to get back. They have to work with each other in order to stay out of reach of animal control. With their friends now out looking for them, and Max and Duke intent on getting home by any means, will they make it? We sure hope so. It's a fun/entertaining journey to watch. However, I was looking forward to more laughs than there were. Most of which we saw in the trailer. Kids will enjoy it because it's animals and it's animated. The rabbit stole the movie for me. Worth watching, yes? Great, fun movie....sort of, for the most part, watch the trailer and there's the movie. Other animated movies will be bought before this one...But, for the most part, it was fun to watch. It just didn't live up to the hype. -- Kevin
