Since we last saw our heroic adventures a lot has happened. They are off on their own lives and their own adventures. During winter break, they all decide to get together and reconnect. Little do they know that this meeting will end up in an adventure of its own. Only it won’t be just them this time. A few unintended players (Spencer’s grandfather and a long lost friend) will also become part of the game. Once back in Jumanji, they’ll quickly realize it’s not quite the game that they remember. New challenges and adventures await as they go about the quest that must be completed in order to get home. This 3rd installment in the Jumanji story ties back to the original with a returning character as well as the obvious tie into the last story as well. Even with its rating, I recommend this to all audiences 8+, a few scenarios along the way might be a little confusing to audiences younger than that. A truly touching tale that you won’t soon forget, that even hints to the idea that this is far from the last that we’ll see from our fearless adventurers.
