Imagine your worst nightmare... Now imagine it coming true. That's what's happening to this midwest family. A young woman finds herself infected with a disease that will change her life forever. You see, victims of the disease become lifeless, mindless zombies. There's only one way to eliminate the infected. This disease and this method have decimated humanity. This young woman has something that many others don't have though, a father that refuses to give up. He is determined to find a way to beat this horrible disease, but by doing so he puts the rest of his family at risk. Is the risk worth the reward? Is there a cure? What will happen to humanity? This seems reminiscent of the many zombie movies that have come before this. Do we penalize them for lack of creativity or do we praise them for carrying on an idea for the genre... That's up to each of us. Though there's a lack of originality, the acting exceeds expectations. Characters that have never attempted such roles, adapt themselves to these new personas... flawlessly. The popularity of this never got far off the ground but if you have the opportunity, it's worth watching at least once.
