Personal expression comes in many forms. Some people use their words, some paint, and some creativity. That's the way that it has always been... at least until now. Emoticons began making their way into the world with the simple colon and parenthesis (otherwise known as the smiley) 🙂 Even with that, it wasn't enough to express exactly what people were trying to share. That's when the Emoji was born. There is an Emoji for almost anything, from the mundane to the absurd and everything in between. The thing is, each one is just one thing. In the land of Textopolis, each emoji has their assignment and that's what's expected of them. What if, an Emoji was more than a single emotion? What would happen to texting, to communication, to life in Textopolis? That's what we're about to find out. Ultimately, this ends up feeling like a cross between Inside Out and Pixels. It's definitely aimed at a younger audience but has some content that the parents will appreciate. If you're looking for a family friendly adventure than this will definitely deliver, just don't set your expectations too high. Appreciate it for what it is and you'll have fun.
