There is a very controversial subject that crosses all political and religious boundaries. The Anti-Christ, something that there is some mention of in many of the world's religions. We are taught that when the Anti-Christ appears he or she will be very charismatic and will have all the allure of a deity. This story delves into what would happen when one appears. As a young woman is getting her life on track, she experiences something that changes her... in every way imaginable. She goes from being a quiet young lady to being something that cannot be understood. As hospitals try to figure her out, they realize it's bigger than themselves. The Vatican has dealt with many threats of evil throughout the years and they too are called in to help this young woman. Is there any hope... or is this the beginning of the end. This feels like The Exorcist meets The Birds with a heavy hand of Poe and maybe some Stephen King mixed in. It meets the criteria of being a dark tale. There are those moments that stay with you but in general, this doesn't live up to the hype. Where it falls short is the fact that it doesn't come together well enough to tell us much of anything. As a whole, it tells a story but the story is nothing more than a compilation of previous ideas.
